Asparagus aethiopicus (Sprenger’s asparagus), is an evergreen perennial plant in the family Liliaceae. Often used as an ornamental plant, it is considered an invasive weed in many locations. In this, both male and female plants must be present to produce hence falls into the category of dioecious plants.
